Street Level offer a changing series of courses throughout the year, run by experienced professionals and practicing artists. All courses have a concessionary rate for students, unemployed, 60+ and SLP members. Proof of eligibility is required.

B&W Beginners Intro to SLR Shooting & Film Developing - November

A thorough introduction/refresher to starting your journey with B&W analogue photography, covering a brief history of photography, how to use a 35mm SLR camera, a guided photowalk in the local area, followed by a workshop in processing your own B&W film.

This all-day course will prepare you for independent printmaking in our traditional B&W darkroom, covering all aspects of enlarger and chemistry use, making contact sheets from your negatives, and 10x8" prints on resin coated paper. Ideal for beginners or those seeking a thorough refresher.
