Street Level Photoworks are pleased to offer a set of six limited edition prints by award winning Scottish photographer Robin Gillanders as part of Street Level Editions.

For over ten years Robin photographed Little Sparta, the acclaimed garden and home of the late poet and artist Ian Hamilton Finlay, as well as working collaboratively together on a number of photographic works.

A selection of prints from this series are in the permanent collection of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, which in 1998 held a landmark exhibition ‘Little Sparta’ featuring photographs from this series along with the photographic collaborations between the two artists.

'The Present Order is the Disorder of the Future' (1997) is one of six prints available from the series 'Little Sparta: Portrait of a Garden'. These beautiful silver gelatin prints were hand printed by Robin in his darkroom in Edinburgh and is in an edition of eight. Each print is signed and stamped by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
