Craig Easton - An Extremely Un-get-atable Place
23 April 2026, 6 - 7.30pm
Talk and presentation with Craig Easton on the first of a trilogy made in the Scottish Islands.
This event features internationally acclaimed photographer Craig Easton, who will give a presentation on his new book An Extremely Un-get-atable Place, which re-imagines the life of writer George Orwell on the Isle of Jura where he wrote Nineteen Eighty-Four.
The work was developed during an RSA Residencies for Scotland with Street Level Photoworks in 2024. It is the first of three books made in the Scottish Islands that will comprise the boxed-set An Island Trilogy, and follows his critically acclaimed monographs Fisherwomen, Bank Top and Thatcher’s Children.
