Grown by The Gaia Foundation, We Feed The UK is a national storytelling campaign pairing award-winning photographers and poets with some of the UK’s most inspiring regenerative food growers. From 9 May - 4 October 2026, Derby’s cultural hub QUAD will host a selection of work from this groundbreaking project.
In an unprecedented alliance between art and agroecology, three radical stories of grassroots resistance showcase our food system’s potential to positively address climate breakdown, the biodiversity crisis and social injustices.
The We Feed The UK exhibition at QUAD features work by artists Arpita Shah, Johannah Churchill and Sophie Gerrard commissioned for this nationwide art and agroecology alliance and covering themes of existence on earth: climate, culture, ecology, justice, wellbeing and connection.
