A collaboration project between Chris Leslie, Street Level Photoworks and NGARN.
Chris Leslie says of his work with the club:
"I was recently commissioned by Street Level Photoworks to work on a community photography project in the north of Glasgow. For the past 3 months I have been documenting and working with an old mens club who meet in Springburn Park. The club meets in the historic Mosesfield House, a former museum and reading room that has since been a lifeline and haven for elderly and retired men since 1946 in the form of Springburn Old Mens Club. This was a unique collaboration project with the men sharing their stories, knowledge and their archive photographs. The end result is a short documentary film about not only the history of the house and their club but also the bonds and friendships that have kept the club going for the past 60 years, whilst all around them in Springburn has changed."
