The young people of Dalmarnock would like to invite interested parties to view a series of photographs taken in and around Glasgow. The young people, working alongside Street Levels Chris Leslie, have learned many of the skills necessary for photography. Through this piece of work they also learned about the history of photography, the science behind it as well as a new appreciation of their own area and Glasgow as a whole.
The work has a variety of inspirations and styles. Although just at the start of their photographic careers many of the images show great thought and creativity. The process has been one that has brought young people together and many friendships were started and others strengthened over the months that we have been doing this.

We are proud to announce that the best of the work will be on display at Dalmarnock Youth Project, 427 Baltic Street, G40 3EU from Friday the 31st of July. Visit the gallery Monday - Friday from 1pm until 5.30pm until the exhibition closes at the end of October.
