Australian percussionist Will Guthrie uses home-made instruments, amplified found and junk, micrphones & speakers alongside more conventional drums and cymbals. He enjoys working in many different settings of music including live performance, improvisation, studio composition as well as being involved in numerous multi-arts projects including installation work, film, theatre and puppetry. In Australia he has organized, promoted and presented many concerts featuring himself alongside others with a continuing focus on developing an original Australian improvised music identity, relevant to the environment and era from which he comes. He also runs the Australian based experimental improvised CD label ANTBOY MUSIC.
