David Gillanders has won international plaudits for his photographic work of Russian child drug addicts and Malawi pictures. He is now continuing the work on the theme of 'Risk' in Glasgow - involving knife culture and other urban problems. His work regularly appears in the Sunday Herald and has featured in The Sunday Times, Paris Match and many other publications. He is just back from New York where his most recent work was being shown. This was a rare opportunity to meet a photojournalist of the highest calibre.
The event was jointly organised by Street Level and Scottish Photographers.
