RECENT ACTIVITY

Picture This
was an exhibition created by a group of young people in Glasgow who participated in a series of creative workshops with artists and youth workers. The artworks explored feelings and meanings and were inspired by the works of contemporary artists who use photography in their work. This exhibition was shown in Dunoon Burgh Hall in early 2011.

Workshops at Dunoon Burgh Hall in conjunction with the exhibition supported participants to explore 'Picture This' using information notes and discussion questions to help ' read' images and to trigger responses, ideas and opinions about the artworks. The group also worked together to create new original photographs in Dunoon Burgh Hall using a range of props including costumes, mirrors and backdrops.
