Argyrotypes
These prints are made according to Mike Ware's work on Iron/Silver printing chemistry. The beautiful brown tones of the prints are achieved using a relatively inexpensive and simple chemical process. Preserving the magic of chemical photography in post-industrial age was my main motivation to research different alternative printing techniques, when advanced photographic materials are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain and produce on industrial scale, we can always return to the 19th century technology to keep the art of analogue photography alive.
