Digital Photography Weekend
4th + 5th February 2012
10.30am – 5pm Saturday, 12noon - 5pm Sunday
This course will cover the breadth of digital photography encompassing using a DSLR camera, methods of image capture, workflow management and the processing/alteration of images using Adobe CS5.
Publish Your Own Photography Book: Weekend

A publication is an ideal platform to showcase your work to galleries and at portfolio reviews. The course will show you the stages of producing a one off photography book using InDesign for your images and layouts as well as go through the process of using online services such as Blurb.
Advanced Darkroom Printing Weekend

Improve your black and white printing technique. This course covers such topics as f-stop printing, archival procedures, local contrast adjustments (dodging and burning) and split grade printing. You will learn how to achieve a reliable and repeatable result out of your darkroom session.
Photoshop for Beginners Evening

This beginner's workshop will teach you skills in uploading images from your camera to your computer. It will then introduce you to the basic Photoshop tools and settings, which will help you enhance and perfect your photographs. From cropping your photographs, to fixing blemishes, to making your photographs look more saturated, this workshop will focus on all the important tools that every photographer uses.

Web Design: Getting your Work Online Evening

This course will include the use of Adobe Dreamweaver to setup a basic site to promote your work and how to ensure this features on the appropriate search engines. The course will include elements of Photoshop to process, size and import images.
